Matteo has held leadership roles in premium and luxury consumer goods for over 25 years working with global brands across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Africa.

Following a Business and Economics degree in Italy, Matteo entered into the premium beverage industry shortly after commencing his career, with companies including Nestle’, Diageo, Carlsberg Group and Campari group across various managerial positions. Most recently as Campari Group Global CEO.

A luxury spirit industry trailblazer, Matteo has led breakthrough business transformations on a global scale during his time as regional & global business leader.

Matteo joined the Cygnet Distillery team in November 2024 as Partner and Chairman of the board.
