Andrew Levitas, described by The New York Times as having “the Midas touch,” is Cygnet Gin's co-founder and a renowned artist and filmmaker with a deep understanding of the luxury industry and a track record of creating highly collectible works.
With over two decades in the New York and European art scenes, Levitas is celebrated for his innovative Metalwork Installations® and Organic Abstractions.
These works, exhibited at venues including The Louvre, are highly sought after by collectors due to their unique fusion of photography, sculpture, and contemporary art. These pieces have disrupted the market, commanding collectors attention and influenced the tastes and interests of the luxury market.
Social Impact Film Maker
As the founder of Metalwork Pictures, Levitas directed and produced the critically acclaimed Minamata starring Johnny Depp, a film that exposes a tragic environmental disaster in Japan and earned top recognition, including a place in the 2022 Academy Awards Fan Favourite category.
Levitas has written and directed over two dozen social-impact films, including Lullaby, praised for its exploration of patients’ rights.
His upcoming film, The King of Covent Garden, featuring Sir Anthony Hopkins as George Fredrick Handel, is eagerly anticipated for its global release next year.
Philanthropic Efforts
As a Global Patron of The Wilderness Foundation and an Ambassador for Tusk Trust, Levitas is actively involved in environmental advocacy, working with elite organisations like the United Nations Environmental Programme.
