A Celebration of Welsh Heritage at Quaglino’s
A Celebration of Welsh Heritage at Quaglino’s
Last night, guests were immersed in the vibrant spirit of Wales as Quaglino’s in Mayfair hosted an unforgettable evening in honour of St David’s Day. The renowned live music restaurant was transformed into a celebration of Welsh culture, with exquisite cocktails, a beautifully curated menu, and live performances setting the stage for a truly special experience.
A Menu Inspired by Welsh Roots
Executive Chef Jack Smith crafted an exceptional three-course menu inspired by the Welsh heritage of our founder, Katherine. Each dish paid homage to traditional ingredients and personal memories, delivering a culinary journey that blended innovation with time-honoured flavours.
An Exclusive Cocktail Launch
The evening marked the launch of our new cocktail menu at Quaglino’s, featuring creations inspired by Katherine’s own memories and the distinct character of Cygnet 22. Guests enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails, each one designed to highlight the gin’s elegant profile and evoke the essence of Wales in every sip.
An Evening of Music and Culture
The atmosphere was brought to life by a captivating performance from the Idalia String Quartet, students from the Royal Academy of Music, where Katherine once studied. As the evening progressed, New Atlantics took to the stage, filling the room with high-energy tunes and crowd-pleasing Welsh classics that kept the celebration going late into the night.
It was an evening to remember—a joyous tribute to St David’s Day, Welsh heritage, and the official launch of Cygnet 22 across D&D London’s prestigious restaurant group.
