The Welsh Mule
The Welsh Mule is a refreshing and zesty twist on the classic Moscow Mule, substituting vodka with Cygnet Gin for a botanical kick.
Ingredients for Two Servings
- 60ml gin
- 15ml fresh lime juice
- Ginger beer
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Fresh mint sprig for garnish
- Optional: Cucumber or fresh ginger.
Method
- Fill a cocktail shaker with 60ml of Cygnet Dry Welsh Gin, ice, and fresh lime juice.
- Shake the contents until well mixed.
- Add ice to two copper mugs or highball glasses, and strain the cocktail shaker evenly.
- Top the mugs up with ginger beer, leaving some space at the top.
- Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a fresh mint sprig for a burst of aroma.
- Optionally, you can also add a slice of cucumber or a few slices of fresh ginger for additional flavour.
